*firefox sucks*

wow... FAIL!

i just spent the last 15 minutes trying to sign in.. and instead i keep getting this screen:

stoopid stoopid. waste of timeeee!

finally. rach tried opening blogger on her brand spanking new laptop... and it worked! so figures, i thought that maybe it would work in IE7, and tru enough.. it did. =) so yup. firefox mozilla... officially sux.

so anyway. i volunteered yesterday at curtin for the careers fair.. i was meant to get to uni at 8.. but that would mean leaving at 7 and waking up at 6:30.. so knowing me, when my alarm went off at 6 something.. i smacked it off. lol. but yeah, i finally got to uni at abt 10ish.. and the mornign was spent helping the employers to get all their displays, flags, paraphenalia and freebies out of their cars and into their respective booths.. it really does suprize me at how blur and just outright stupid so many smart people can be. but anyway. once the actual fair got underway, we were all handing out career bags and just helping arnd.. i was assigned to help out the photographer... which was an experience in itself coz i had to ask ppl for their permission/consent to the photo AFTER the photo was taken... lol. and oh - chick HR ppl? they equal VAIN! and oh.. curtin guys? esp the engineers? they're vain too! i think i came across at least 4 different engineering guys who said no to the photo because they think they looked "less-than-adequate"..! and yess. those were the words they inteligently chose to use. so i gez the vain part is cancelled out by the fact that they could defend their motion with wordy words. pretty weird to me u know. so anyway, after the photographer thing got done.. i went back to generally helping out.

all in all it was a great experience. met lotsa ppl, got to chat to some employers i was really interested in, and yeah.. it was fun. hahah. =)

so after the fair, and after class that night, a bunch of us went out for dinner @ siennas, leederville for jas and luke's b'day. nice night. =) even though there were heaps of us that were meant to be there, lots of ppl bailed last minute and we ended up having to sit at 2 different tables (because apparently if u have more than 12, you HAVE to order set meals - and duh that's stupid especially on special price nites). so yeah, we sat at two different tables.. but overall it was good. =)

so after dinner.. i sent dwen and trish home.. and so by the time i got home it was already almost 11.. which meant that i didn't have much time to cram or to finish my assignments. =( weirdly enough, i couldn't get to sleep either so i ended up stayin up till like 4. really really really gay. but yeah. i'm extra tired now, and today was totally not productive. i haven't gotten anywhere with my research for 241 yet. and i'm still at a loss for ideas =( but anyway.

just gotta get busy i guess.

*wow. time sure does fly*

hahaha. this is funny. no matter how hard i try, somehow this blog just ends up dying. anyway.

so tonight, for some wacky reason i felt like making takoyaki! earlier this week, i started my new job at "the kitchen store" in the galleria.. and all week i'd been seeing all of these awesome kitchen gadgets and gizmos... and so yesterday at work, i finally found it! a takoyaki grill hot plate! it's aweeeesoommeeee! hehehehe. ever since i went on exchange to japan in 2004, i've been looking for this grill hot plate. it's so fun to do hey. hahah. so i found a recipe for the takoyaki batter... so i ended up making it for "dinner" tonight. it was pretty funny though, coz the first batch was (truth be-told) HORRIBLE! lol. it was burnt.. coz i was pretty slow with the whole turning thing.. but as the batches went on (i made 4 batches - which is a heck of a lot of takoyaki..) they got better.. so i think i mastered it! hehehe. woohoo. lol. it was crazy fun though.. =) made me feel really accomplished today.

anyway, so after church this morning, i've decided that my theme is going to be "NO DOUBT". the speaker gave such a good message/encouragement. and yeah.. no doubt is definately the way to go. no longer will my life be undriven or unmotivated. i have this desire to use my life the way God intended. so there is no doubt that i'm gonna be part of God's plan. it definately does feel good to be on the right track again. =)

*oh.the.choices*

so here i am sitting at home on a wednesday - a week day, at home, in my jammies and deliberating whether blogger or live.spaces is better.

now on a normal weekday, i wouldn't even THINK to be home, let alone be in my jammies. lol! but yet, i have a feeling my wednesdays are going to be somewhat like this for the remainder of the semester. the joy this semester? no group work. i think that after last year's group catastrophes.. God is probably rewarding me. lol!

soooooo. i posted on my live space last night... and i still can't decide whether i'd rather keep this space, or that one. they both seem the same, except i can do whatever i want with this site - templates.. all that. but hrrrrrmmmm. i dunnoooooo. see? ficklemindedness. it's the plague of my life. lol!

well. i reckon to keep the score even, i'll just post wat i posted there here! hahaha. i guess that makes sense right? well.. here goes. =)

.......
[the.post.begins]
weeellll! back to uni it is... surprizingly, this year seems a lot better than last year! haha. although, 3 out of 4 units are first year units... somehow i feel more knowledgable about the whole uni experience.. plus, having volunteered over the summer break makes me feel a tad bit more involved and perhaps somewhat more "collegiate". which brings me to the thought - is it culturally accurate to use such a word as 'collegiate' in australian culture? i mean, if college in american culture is just a reference to higher education, then surely uni over here is a necessitated equivalent right? i've actually wondered about this thought before hey.

but anyway. so after 7 hours of classes scheduled for today (even though most classes were shortened because they were primarily introduction lectures/seminars), i'm officially afraid of economics. it may be easy to some ppl.. but somehow - i'm just freaking scared! the lecture we had today was actually an informative lecture... and seriously, even though the stuff wasn't full-on in depth economics, i have a feeling i'm going to really have to work hard for good marks in this unit. bugger. i should've done econs in high school... probably would've made things a little bit easier... hrm. i definately don't think that econs is one of my strengths.. i guess we'll just have to see..

so i finally handed in my RYERSON application form... hopefully i'll hear from them soon, so i can really start the detailed planning.. i've bought quite a few books on canada/usa... i know it's a little bit detail freakish, but somehow all the planning keeps me motivated and excited.. haha. it also calms me because i think i have a small idea about what to expect over there in toronto.. while i was volunteering a few weeks ago, i bumped into quite a few ppl who were actually from toronto! all of them have said really great things about the city, and ryerson uni in particular - that it's got a good rep and it's right downtown... so i'm pretty hyped and happy about that. =))

after a full day at uni, i got a last minute call to go into work to help clean out the store.. finally they're closing the city store... so a few frenz and i went to sort stuff out... i wasn't really tired, but somehow... i was? lol! that probably doesn't make any sense.. but really.. i'm mentally tired right now, but physically i'm still okie. hahah. must be the econs lecture today.. now THAT was seriously draining in mental power. hahaha. i hope i can last.

so i'm still deliberating about whether to work tm... i still have so much to get done for uni! i think i may do all that first.. hahah. but we'll see anyhow... i best be off. =)

tata.

.......

so you know what hasn't changed since last night? i STILL have soooo much to do! uh-oh. i'd better get started!

*smiley.smile*

okay, this is just funny. i know it's been up on youtube for ages, but everytime i see it. i just can't help but laugh. it's absolutely insane to think that parents would let their kid get so addicted to ddr that he memorizes the entire thing! lol. either way, it's damn hilarious. heheh.

annywayyy. so today was yet another hot day. i realllllyy hope it dies down soon. the heat is making everything crazy. plus, it's making me sooooo tired. so after church today, then going out for bt, i came home and watched take the lead. however, the stupid dvd keeps playing up, so instead of it being a 2hour+ movie, it's more like a 3hour+ movie. loll. totally annoying. i have a feeling its my laptop which isn't writing the dvds properly. gahh. time to upgrade i think. lol. it's so stoopid, sometimes the keys konk out, then u gotta tap it hard in a particular place so it works agen. lol. dodgyyyy. and it's a sony vaio too. hahaha. =p meh. stoopid stoopid. i think i'm gonna start looking for a replacement now!

so, enjoy the vid. it's preeeety funny. hehe. =)

*new.look....again?*

yup. it's time for a new look. haha. so i busted in seeing shell lookin for new blog designs - esp for our new up and running blog - "haha.oh.snap". =p there's a link up. =) but yeah. tt just inspired me to get a new look going!

anyywayyy. last nite sleepover.. all them were so gay. everyone knows that ppl don't ACTUALLY sleep at a sleepover.. hahah. but nooooo they were so "tired" that they HAD to sleep. so tim and i ended up watching MI3 at like, 4 in the morning? hahah. it was goooooood. thenn, today, the boys went to darkzone (they ate all our fruit loops for breakfast! grrr). thenn, everyone ended up at my place. btw the heat today was soooooooo bad. even worse, in the 40 degree heat, my car, my beloved car, decided to konk out the air con. sooooo. i had to drive my car - WITHOUT the air-con to kallaroo to have a technician check it out. it was sooo bad hey. i thought i was gonna faint! =( enoch and lil had to suffer through the heat too. so then after we got back home, we never wanted to leave! hahah. buttttt. we had to bcoz all the others were already at the beach. overall. it was really gd. heheh. yummy food.. and oh! i finally got to throw that grid-iron ball.. woot. heheh. i mean, i still suck. lol. but oh well. =p

so now.. i'm really really tired. i think i'm gonna crash. haha. so yahh. over and out for tonight. =)) oh yeah. i'll upload the pics later. =)

*happy.australia.day!*

yay! another australia day. heheh. although this year, the effect was a lot lesser. i mean. okay, no flags, no anthem.. and i didn't even go and watch the fireworks! hahah. but okay, fair enough, that was just by choice. hahah. i kinda miss being patriotic though, like in school? we used to have those special things leading up to australia day.. or at least wen u drive arnd u see heaps of ppl with flags flying from their cars.. or u see the helicopter flying with the flag. but hrm. this year, i din see annyyy of that! lolll. so sad!

weeeeellll. uni is still one whole month away. or rather, i've still got a whole month left of holidays! ordinarily, i'd be happy? but... somehow, i'm just really "meh" abt everything. hrm. i hope this feeling leaves soon. coz i really don't like being left feeling like this! anyway. enough moodiness for one day. or week. or month. lol.. bye.

*all is well is the land of...*

haha. soooo. sucummed. yes.. i did. i'm back people!

well.. hopefully i'm not going to be scornful about the whole thing.. and i'm going to work on that whole procrastination problem. hahah. somehow amidst everything, i missed this blog. i guess, writing stuff here helped me process stuff. even if the stuff was stupid. lol. =p

so everytime i open my blog, i hear rent's season of love. i LOVE that song. so even though it gets annoying (i'm sorry btw). it's staying up. it simply reminds me of how important love really is. i've been indulging in one tree hill season 2 lately.. i actually just finished watching it this arvo. i think that even though the lives of the characters are really whack, somehow the peripheral meaning to all their lives is love. it's what makes them and breaks them. but in real life... somehow God, faith, work, school, friends, family.. all of that stuff intercedes. and you know what? love is important. now as a Christian, i'm a strong believer that love is God and that we've gotta love one another.. we need to find love first.. i mean, without love.. is there really life? at least a happy and complete life anyway? now i'm not talking about romanticism.. and the romantic kind of love which everyone seems to be chasing after.. i mean.. real love. love for God, love for literature, love for friends, love for fishing even! hahah. it probably sounds really crazy right now.. but i think that this is the one thing which is on my heart right now. i've had some pretty crazy months go by where my heart hasn't been settled. but i think that even though my whole world is changing now (literally).. i think that God still does have a purpose for me.. and i think that i'm gonna be strong in Him first.. and i think i'm gonna settle my heart on that. =)

*rent = absolutely.fantastic!*

wow. i'm stunned. really purely stunned. i rented the movie "rent" and watched it last night. it was amazing! it's a musical-movie. normally i don't really like these types of movies.. it was partially buffy's fault coz they did their crappy musical. okay, but west side story was an exception to it all. anyyway! then i came across this movie when raph told me to rent it.. so i did! and true enough.. it was so goood!! heheh.

so yeah, this is a video clip of the theme song tt's called "seasons of love". i love their voices. all of them. well, except for maureen. lol. =p but yeah heeere. listen! it's sooooo gd! jesse.L.martin's voice is the best! he's one of the main cops on law and order.. it was totally unexpected that he could sing so good! gotta be one of the best contemporary baritone's i've ever hear hey. his range is so extensive! it's awesomee!! =D

*whoops.*

heyyyyy. okie. so i noe that it's been ages since i last posted.. and i've actually been on now and agen to write some stuff down, but, i've just never had the chance to actually click the word "post". so! here's just what i wrote previously. =))

wow! these past 2 weeks have gone by so fast! last last week was the ypg presentation night, then last week was youth camp! so much stuff to get through hey! but yeah. it was all very fulfilling and all very much worth the effort and the lack of sleep! the lessons learnt will always be hidden deep in the corners of my heart.

from last last week, preparing for the skit and the music items, i don't think i've ever felt that much stress! even through the exams, i don't think i felt that much pressure hey! like. we recorded a CD that we sold (we sold out by the way).. and then getting ready to present everything on the actual night, plus the fact that i was in charge of door sales and all that.. it was all quite rushed! but either way, the whole night turned out to be a complete success! we managed to raise over $1000 so it was great! =)

thennnn. youth camp started. it kinda started off bad bcoz i didn't get enough sleep leading up to it. see, a group of bethanians (from the singapore church) came down to perth, and they left on sunday night.. oh oh oh! which reminds me! we saw dani from big brother at the domestic airport!! hehehe. both enoch and cheng went up to her and got photos taken with her.. hahahah. =p wat sussheads! keke. but in the best way. it was quite funny. =p annnywayyy. yeah. so we went into youth camp really really tired, but we were very ready to listen to God's Word. thank God for pastor and for s-p chris for coming down from s'pore hey. they really opened my eyes to see a lot of things, and also made me realize things too! we had a lot of fun with the team games on those days, but it was great because the camp was also "Word-Centered".. so that was great!
- 17th July 2006

okay. then there was another post, but i never really got it started. it was a blog post abt my trip to KL and genting highlands. i actually only got back on saturday.. the trip was so good hey. there were so many things about it which opened my eyes to see things differently... there's way too many for me to post up here.. but my uncle, my grandpa.. just seeing family.. also travelling up from s'pore to KL and to genting.. it was all quite character building actually.

anyway! so now uni is back.. first week usually isn't any work.. but i can already feel the pressure that i'm gonna feel throughout this semester.. hrrmm. tt's y i'm taking it easy this week.. =) oh oh oh! i finished watching the korean mini-series drama "FULL HOUSE".. hahah! if u haven't seen my msn nickname.. kim sung-soo is soooooooo HOT! hahaha. =p plus, he speaks fluent korean AND jap.. and he even speaks english! haha. he's really cool! hahah. =p but yes. okay. enough drooling for one day. haha. =)

*it's been too long*

wow! i haven't posted in quite a while hey =p. but time has been going by really slow. ever since having to defer my management exam, everything has been going slowly downhill. last last week, after sitting my accounting exam, i got sick! was sick through the week, even through the weekend.. unfortunately for me, my management exam was on monday, so i had to defer. i really resent that. i wish that i would've been well so that i could've just sat the exam and gotten it over and done with.. bcoz now, i've still got one exam to do! and everyone else is on holidays! sux don't it. the exam will be between 17 and 19 july. which means that i have to change my plans to go to s'pore. i was originally meant to leave on the 17th.., but i guess that has to change now.. =(

annywayy. i've been in search of a new job.. well.. an additional job i should say.. bcoz i only get 8 hours at ace of hearts.. n i want more dosh! lol. soooo. anyway, to my suprize, my boss asked me whether i'd like to be "promoted" to be a sales representative in addition to working in the warehouse! this means that i get to go arnd to the different stores to check up on their stocks and to tidy it up and sell more products (the cards, gift bags, ribbons and all that stuff).. basically it's just selling stuff. and the best thin is that i know the products quite well now coz i've been working in the warehouse for quite a while.. so yeah! it seems like something that i wanna try out.. =)) plus it means i'll be working extra hours, so i'm happy. =))

annyway, we're having a home worship tm for ypg.. lol. basically it's just a time of lots and lots and lots of singing.. hahah. and i'm playing piano on that little itty bitty shoddy keyboard. lolll it's only 4 and a half octaves!! so pathetic. hahahah. =p but oh well, will have to do our best eh? but yeah. i hope it all goes well. =))

annnndddd. ypg is having a presentation night! to raise more funds for the youth camp. the presentation night is on the 8th of july. $5 bucks a person. =) there's gonna be a skit and singing items and stuff. gonna be heaps of fun! =)) so yeah. come if u can! heheh. watch us make a fool of ourselves.. lol. =p

okay okay okay. i'm gonna go now. hahah. seeeee ya!

oh oh oh! one more thing.. in the light of the WORLD CUP FEVER... this guy is sooo hot!! hahaha. he's a midfielder for japan.. ;) hey. don't get me wrong, i'm all for australia.. but this guy.. he's just... HOT! hahaha. =p by the way, his name is atushi yanagisawa. number 13. =))

too bad the picture is so small. haha.
