dah dah dah dum....

and once again, we've hit the exam period!

i never cease to wonder how time goes by so fast. no joke, i could swear that yesterday was the beginning of march, just starting uni again. yet here we are - in JUNE!

well, just to speed everyone up. i spent the last 2 and a half weeks sick. and knowing me, i didn't take that very well. being sick always seems to get to me, it makes me depressed, and yes... i did cry. but after all the crying (and whinging), it made me feel a lot better. =D and funny enough, i really wanted to get back to work and uni, but when i went into the office, my boss told me to turn around and go home! so she gave me like a week and a half of sick leave. that didn't bode too well for my pay check though... hahaha. i was suprized however that despite being sick, i still managed to clock in about 30 hours, so that was cool. and even funnier, on friday, i went to see the doc bcoz i needed an MC (i asked for an extension on an assignment), and i thought i was all better right? yet the doc gave me a prescription for some anti-biotic type medicine! it's totally crazy.

anyway. i've done a whole bunch of final assignments (thank God they're over)... and suprizingly, even though they were tedious to write.. i quite enjoyed it. hahah.

here's an *exerpt* from my public policy essay:
"In the Australian public policy framework, the “legitimacy of much public policy now rests on an exchange between citizens and their government” (Althaus, Bridgman and Davis 2007, 97). The ideas stimulated at the 2020 Summit were purposed to enable the Labor Federal government and future Australian governments to institute public policies which are collectively mandated and initiated by members of the Australian public (Rudd 2008). By employing the use of the 2020 Summit as a policy instrument in the policy making process, these ideas presented at the summit have become policy ideas for the current Labor Federal government to analyze, implement and evaluate."

so yes... as you can tell, my essay was a study of the Australia 2020 Summit... did you know that before i chose this essay topic, i didn't even know that they HAD a 2020 summit... it's pretty funny. lol. but yes. at least i can actually say that uni is "useful"... lol.

okay anyway. i've gotta get back to the books!

laterzzzz.
