* i love my family *

a great part of this trip to singapore has been the family time. of course, the occasion itself called for it, but even after the funeral, we've managed to meet up with cousins/other family pretty much every day.

here's what we've done in the last three days:
- watched harry potter 7
- bowled at marina square @ 1am
- had breakfast at dempsey road CA*california plus breakfast dessert at ben & jerry's
- bowled again: 5 games at orchid country club: finished at 3am
- late night supper @ thomson prata until 4:30am
- family potluck dinner with the aunties/uncles
- impulsively bought finger food from the taka food forum and went to sit on random benches for dinner on the 4th floor at takashimaya (how high school of us!)
- played 3 hours of pool at lucky plaza (note: there's a NEW kPool place that took over mambo billards! this brought back sooo many *childhood* memories, back to when we used to play at mambo every day of our holiday in singapore!!)
- supper @ bencoolen st prata until 2:30am

do you see the trends? but how awesome is it that even though they have to work, they're still keen to wanna max our hang out time while we're still here! i love these guys.


i think this is the first non-official-event photo we've taken together. like. ever. BUT. it's such a shame that quite a few of us are missing. =(


family potluck night! my mouth is already watering for more roasted cackle pork!!
the best and crazy thing about coming back to singapore is that everything is SO much cheaper! i mean, bowling is like SGD$3-$4 per game? and. pool was SGD$5.80 per hour!! that's insane! back in sydney, one game on a normal day is AUD$14.90! and POOL. it's AUD$16 an hour!! nutters!

for the first time, i think there's an ever so slight chance that i might miss singapore. gosh. who would've thunk it?
